While FSR 3 provides a frame rate boost, there are some caveats. When the GPU is already pushing out a high frame rate, the algorithm can generate good-looking and non-distracting interpolated images. However, when the game is running slower, the algorithm has to guess more, leading to potential errors, especially with fast-moving objects.
Overall, AMD’s FSR 3 offers an alternative to Nvidia’s DLSS and Intel’s XeSS. Its hardware-agnostic approach and support for a wide range of GPUs make it an attractive option for gamers.
