In a remote area of Pakistan, a young man named Sahib Khan is being hailed as a hero for his courageous efforts to rescue seven teenagers who were trapped in a cable car. After two of the supporting cables snapped, the teenagers were left hanging from the cable car for hours.
The military attempted a rescue with a helicopter, but only managed to save one person due to fading light and high winds. Sahib and his older brother Nasir, who own a cable car business, volunteered to rescue the remaining seven. They used a zipline and their experience in the industry to reach the cable car and safely bring all the children and two adults back to the ground one at a time.
Footage of the rescue captured by local news has gone viral, and Sahib and Nasir have been praised as national heroes. The rescue took place in the Battagram District of northern Pakistan, where building cable cars across ravines can save time and money. The military initially prohibited the villagers from taking action, but eventually allowed the use of a zipline.
Despite the difficult conditions, including darkness and strong winds, Sahib and Nasir successfully completed the rescue mission with the help of their small makeshift gondola. Sahib expressed gratitude for being able to bring the children to safety.
This heartwarming story of bravery and community support has inspired people around the world. Sahib and Nasir’s selfless actions have made the entire nation proud, and remind us of the power of ordinary people coming together to help others in times of need.
